Synopsis
Roland, suffers from a most unusual detriment. One that causes people near him to drop dead. This has caused Roland an unnatural amount of grief, causing him to accept life as a recluse; nihilistic and withdrawn. Roland will discover that sometimes the worse situations can hide cloaked in the chaos, our calling. For Roland, a chance crossing with a dying girl will spell out his reason for existing, and uncloak his future purpose in the universe.

About the CareTaker
The caretaker is a 15-minute, coming of age drama project launched by Eye Candy Films and director/writer William Collins. The project was launched as an example/pilot hybrid for a television series on the character of Roland (protagonist). The Caretaker marks an unprecedented use of new technology using a number of new and/or manufactured prototype technologies for the acquisition and production of the short series pilot.
Technologies
Salient among these new technologies and inventions are: aerial wireless monitored and controlled camera support system, prototype 0 infrared emission lighting, battery operated day light balanced light arrays, follow focus enabled DSLR underwater housing prototype, battery operated LED close up light system, 1Bit field audio acquisition and processing, and a full system of all-weather enabled production gear significant for the Houston production.

The CareTaker is a landmark project for the maximum use of technologies that facilitate and lower the price point of production while maintaining a high production value. In today’s investment market our project can be completed for a significantly lower price point than typical productions allowing for more creativity and more risk taking on the production, while increasing the investors' gain.
